Education:
Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline required. Master's degree preferred. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement optimization, simulation, and cost models using linear programming, mixed-integer programming, and discrete-event simulation techniques Analyze production planning, logistics, process flow, and resource allocation scenarios to identify operational improvements Collect, clean, and analyze operational data to support modeling and decision-making efforts Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business requirements and deliver data-driven recommendations Present technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Support deployment and production implementation of analytical and optimization tools Document methodologies, assumptions, and modeling results for knowledge sharing and best practices Required Skills & Experience 7+ years of experience applying operations research or industrial engineering methodologies in business or engineering environments Strong experience with optimization solvers such as CPLEX, Gurobi, or Pyomo+GLPK Experience with simulation tools including AnyLogic, SimPy, or similar platforms Advanced Python programming and data analysis skills Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional environments Preferred Qualifications Experience with workflow automation, data visualization, or data preparation tools Exposure to manufacturing, supply chain, or commercial analytics environments
Pay:
$60.00 - $63.00 per hour
