Job Description

Buckley Day Camp is a traditional day camp looking for a fun, qualified individual to join our team to work as a 1 on 1 for a child with special needs. Camp runs from Monday, June 29th through Friday, August 21st. During camp hours will be 8:30am-4:15pm. Buckley Day Camp is located in Roslyn, NY. We serve campers ranging in age from 3 to 15 who come from Nassau, Suffolk, Queens and Manhattan. We are located on a beautiful 25-acre campus with many outdoor attractions and indoor, air-conditioned facilities. Attendance at pre-camp orientation/training sessions (approximately 4 days throughout May and June) is expected.
Desired Qualifications:
  • LOVE working with children
  • Experience working with children with special needs in a school, after-school or camp setting
  • Students earning degrees in education, special education, social work, art therapy, etc.
is preferred.
