Academic Appointment Full-time faculty position with appointment at the level of Assistant/Associate/Professor in the Department of Medicine, College of Medicine, University of Oklahoma Health Campus. This position is open rank with the Clinician Scientist pathway, appointment will be consecutive term. Areas of Responsibilities Designing and conducting studies (clinical trials, translational, or outcomes research) Publishing in peer-reviewed journals Applying for and managing grants (e.g., NIH funding) Leading or collaborating on multidisciplinary research teams Turning lab discoveries into treatments Maintain and manage a research laboratory through grant funding

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

Doctoral Degree (PhD, MD, or equivalent) MD candidates must be either Board Eligible or Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine Strong research training Strong communication skills Ethical conduct in research

Preferred Qualifications:

Evidence of potential for independent funding History of securing grants/ability to obtain external funding National/International reputation
