This position offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research projects in Biology and Chemistry. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a passion for research, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the design, implementation, and execution of research projects. Conduct literature reviews to gather relevant information and background for ongoing research. Collect and analyze data using various research methods, techniques, and software tools. Maintain accurate records of research findings and assist in the preparation of research reports, manuscripts, and presentations. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot research challenges and develop innovative solutions. Assist in the organization and coordination of research activities, including participant data management. Contribute to the development of research proposals, grant applications, and ethical review submissions. Prepare purchase requisitions, work orders and keep up with the maintenance of the research space. Any other duties as assigned by the Research Director or Associate Director.
REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION
: Bachelor's degree in science; Master's degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
: Prior experience in academic or scientific research, preferably in cancer research. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced research environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards in research conduct and integrity.
