Job Summary This is an Internal Employment Opportunity The Department of Forest Ecosystems and Society invites applications for a full-time (1.00 FTE), 12-month, fixed-term,Research Associate:
Global Ecosystem Dynamics position. Reappointment is at the discretion of the Department Head. The candidate will continue to develop and evaluate a model that imputes Global Ecosystem Dynamics Investigation (GEDI) waveforms at a 30-meter resolution on a global scale, which will be publicly released and available as NASA data. The candidate will continue to develop species distribution models for SE Asia aimed at understanding the role ofmunity forestry in limiting forest degradation. This Research Associate will be supervised by Drs. Matt Betts (FES) and Sean Healey (USFS). This is a 100% research position and requires PhD-level skills inputer programming, remote sensing, and species distribution modeling. Why OSU? Working for Oregon State University is so than a job!
