Energy / Sustainability Communications Fellowship VOX Global - 4.8 Washington, DC Job Details Full-time $23 an hour 11 hours ago Qualifications Writing skills Research Proofreading Full Job Description Overview VOX Global, a strategic communications firm, is accepting applications for a communications/ public affairs fellowship focused on supporting energy and sustainability clients. This position will support VOX account teams with research, media coverage reports, writing and asset creation, benchmarking and general communications work. The fellowship is a paid, full-time, 6-month position based in our Washington, DC office. We are looking for someone to join our team in June . This is a hybrid role, with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. A successful candidate will have excellent writing skills, strong attention to detail, familiarity with the media landscape, a keen interest in energy and sustainability issues and a team-oriented attitude. Prior work experience related to energy and sustainability issues is strongly welcomed but not a requirement. Qualifications College graduate with experience in communications, public affairs or related fields and/or currently enrolled in/completed a graduate program Understanding of the U.S. media landscape, political structure and energy industry Long-term project experience, either through coursework or prior career experience Excellent research and analytical skills Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail Copy editing and proofing abilities Ability to work in a collaborative environment Application requirements Resume/CV Cover letter Writing sample, which may include a classroom assignment, work product from a previous internship, a campus newspaper or magazine article, or an essay, blog post, letter, or memo The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $23.00. The rate is based on a range of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
