Position Overview We are seeking a Psychological Assessment Associate to support psychological, neuropsychological, and psychoeducational evaluation services under the supervision of a licensed psychologist. Responsibilities include administering and scoring psychological assessments, documenting behavioral observations during testing sessions, and providing administrative support related to assessment services. This role does not involve independent interpretation of assessment results or diagnostic decision-making. This position offers meaningful opportunities to develop competency in psychological assessment while working alongside licensed psychologists in a collaborative group practice setting. Prior psychometric experience is welcomed but not required. We are seeking candidates with foundational training in psychology, mental health, education, research methods, statistics, or related disciplines and a genuine interest in assessment. The role may be particularly well-suited for a trained psychometrist, graduate student, postdoctoral fellow, or other psychology trainee seeking hands-on assessment experience and mentorship. Responsibilities and opportunities may be tailored based on educational background, experience level, and professional goals. We serve clients ranging from early childhood through later adulthood and representing diverse cultural backgrounds, identities, and clinical presentations. Associates will frequently support evaluations involving diagnostic questions around ADHD, autism, learning differences, executive functioning challenges, emotional and behavioral concerns, and diagnostic clarification. This role offers exposure to nuanced, integrative assessment work that can be both intellectually engaging and deeply meaningful for clients and families. The position is expected to begin at approximately 20 hours per week, including assessment administration, scoring, testing-related administrative support, and supervision or consultation activities. As our assessment services continue to grow, there may be opportunities for increased hours and expanded responsibilities over time. For the right candidate, additional opportunities may become available as the practice grows. Individuals who are licensed or license-eligible mental health professionals may have opportunities to supplement assessment work with therapy, consultation, training, or other clinical services. Eligible Backgrounds (Current training or completed degrees welcome) Certified Psychometrist or Psychometry Specialist Master's-level psychology student or graduate with assessment experience or interest School Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Neuropsychology, or related doctoral student (PhD, PsyD, EdS) Postdoctoral Fellow in Psychology Licensed Psychologist (LP, HSP-P) Requirements Strong background in psychology, behavioral science, education, or clinical mental health Openness to supervision, feedback, and ongoing professional development Cultural humility, empathy, and effective interpersonal skills Comfort working with a diverse range of children, adolescents, and adults Ability to establish rapport while maintaining standardized administration procedures Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Adherence to standardized administration and scoring procedures Preferred Qualifications Experience administering and/or scoring psychological, educational, neuropsychological, or developmental assessments is welcomed but not required Compensation Compensation starts at $20 per hour and is commensurate with experience, training, and qualifications.
