m. The Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) is seeking a data-driven strategist to serve as our Data and Evaluation Coordinator (Research Consultant III) . This role is critical in ensuring our program is data-informed and the impact is measurable. You will lead data-related efforts, gathering and compiling reports and synthesizing numbers into actionable insights that drive program improvements and satisfy annual federal reporting requirements. In this role, you will guide the overarching vision for program evaluation, ensuring that all data collection and analysis align with RHTP's mission to improve rural health.   • overseeing contract progress, ensuring data quality, and communicating complex findings into professional reporting products that drive decision-making.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Oversight & Vision:
Oversee the long-term vision for RHTP evaluation to measure the effectiveness of RHTP initiatives across rural Utah. Monitor evaluation contracts and ensure deliverables meet programmatic needs.
Federal Reporting & Compliance:
Lead the collection, analysis, and submission of data for all federal reporting requirements. Ensure accuracy and on-time submission to maintain program funding and standing.
Specialized Analysis:
As needed analyze rural health trends, rural demographics, workforce gaps, and other factors affecting the health of rural Utahns to inform programmatic efforts.
Quality Improvement:
Use data to identify program inefficiencies and recommend data-informed adjustments for maximum impact.
Dissemination of Findings:
Produce high quality reporting products to communicate RHTP's impact to partners and state leadership. Qualifications Must have a Masters degree in Public Health, Statistics, Data Science, Public Administration, or a related field with at least one to two years of relevant work experience in data analysis and evaluation; OR have a Bachelor's degree and three or four years of work experience in data analysis and evaluation in Public Health, Health Care, Social Services or related field; OR have a total of 8 years combined relevant work experience in data analysis and evaluation in Public Health, Health Care, Social Services or related field. Advanced proficiency in data tools (e.g., Excel, R, Qualtrics, REDCap). Maintains exceptional communication standards across multiple platforms while navigating a demanding, fast-paced workload. Balances a rigorous task load with the ability to articulate complex information to varied audiences effectively. Skills in Google, Microsoft Office Suite, and experience with project coordination and management. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to present complex data and recommendations to diverse audiences. Preference may be given to candidates who have: Experience with Federal Grant reporting (e.g., HRSA, CMS, or CDC requirements). 2+ years of experience in data analysis, federal reporting, or program evaluation (preferably in a health organization or government setting). Knowledge of evaluation frameworks. Knowledge of rural health, health systems, and social determinants of health. Experience in project coordination, preferably within a health/rural health-related setting. Proven ability to manage complex databases and ensure data integrity across multiple agencies. Supplemental Information This position is currently a hybrid of both in-office and remote work days.
