PhD with doctoral degree in a relevant discipline or MD with relevant residency training or doctoral degree in a relevant discipline. Completion of relevant doctoral degree or MD and relevant residency; experience working within a research team.
SUMMARY:
Responsible for providing safe, effective and compassionate care to Brown University Health patients under supervision, commensurate with his/her level of advancement and responsibility. Participate fully in the educational activities of the applicable program. Full-time research and training as appropriate for the individual's training plan. The fellow will be matched with a research mentor based on their interests and experience and the availability of potential mentors. Individually tailored goals will be established. The Fellow will be exposed to various aspects of research through participation in the following activities: Review of relevant literature and participation in a range of research activities. Completion of pilot projects or examination of data from the mentor's line of research. From this work, the Fellow will prepare manuscripts and presentations for national conferences. The fellow will develop and submit research proposals during the fellowship period. Didactic educational opportunities can complement research activities and mentorship.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

INDEPENDENT ACTION
