Hours per week 37.5 hours per week Normal Work Schedule M-Th 8am-5pm, F 8am-12:30pm Job Details Assistant Director, Institutional Effectiveness Coastal Carolina University is currently accepting applications for the following full-time position: Assistant Director, Institutional Effectiveness in the Office of Institutional Research, Assessment and Analysis . The Assistant Director, Institutional Effectiveness plans and directs assessment and accreditation activities in support of the University's mission, strategic planning, and continuous improvement efforts. Assists the Director with projects that aid the University community in determining that the overall goals, objectives, and priorities of the University are being met through the stated goals and objectives of individual departmental units, along with effective implementation of assessment priorities. Required Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required. Also required is a minimum of three (3) years of research, accreditation, assessment, evaluation, and/or institutional effectiveness experience in a higher education environment.
Preferred Qualifications :
A master's degree from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of accreditation, assessment, evaluation, and/or institutional effectiveness experience in a higher education environment is preferred. Demonstrated experience in project management and team supervision. Strong experience in institutional effectiveness, assessment, and accreditation processes. Duties include, but are not limited to: Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to create and implement assessment initiatives including analyzing outcomes to improve institutional effectiveness, student learning, and continuous improvement. Partner with the University-Wide Assessment Committee and its subcommittees to review assessment plans and results, manage projects, facilitate discussions, and share results across the institution. Oversee the technical system for collecting, analyzing, and distributing assessment data and findings. Manage aspects of the accreditation process, ensuring compliance with institutional and program-specific accreditation standards. Coordinate data collection and analysis efforts, collaborate with academic departments to provide consultation for program accreditation, and manage accreditation-related documentation. Ensure that accreditation websites are continuously updated and that all required information is accurate, accessible, and aligned with regulatory requirements. Lead the development and implementation of assessment strategies for departmental and university-wide initiatives aligned with institutional priorities. Collaborate with campus partners to advance strategic planning and support the program review process. Develop and deliver workshops and educational opportunities to enhance faculty and staff assessment knowledge and practices. Develop comprehensive documentation and written materials to support and enhance assessment efforts, including maintaining and updating assessment website content and supporting overall website content management to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and alignment with institutional needs. Provide direct supervision to assigned staff, including monitoring progress, verifying the accuracy and completeness of work products, supporting effective communication with campus partners, and fostering professional development. Salary range:
$57,700.00 (minimum) - $80,800.00 (midpoint). Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university.
