This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with basic laboratory experience who are eager to gain hands-on experience in agricultural research and field operations. Location North Charleston, SC Schedule Day Shift Monday-Friday 40 hours/week Start time between 7:00 AM - 7:30 AM No overtime anticipated Pay Rate $20.00/hour Contract Type Temporary / Contract Position Initial assignment with potential extension based on business needs No permanent conversion anticipated at this time Position Overview This role will primarily support outdoor agricultural research activities, with a strong emphasis on field work conducted in outdoor conditions. Candidates should be comfortable working outside for extended periods and be willing to assist with a variety of research support activities. Responsibilities Assist research staff with field trial activities and data collection Support planting, sampling, monitoring, and general outdoor research operations Maintain accurate records and follow established procedures Assist with basic laboratory support activities as needed Follow all safety and operational protocols Qualifications Associate or Bachelor's degree in Biology, Agriculture, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or related scientific field preferred Recent graduates encouraged to apply Basic laboratory experience is a plus Strong work ethic and positive attitude required Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat and humidity Reliable transportation and strong attendance required #
