Scope of Job Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience and/or training in digital archives, digitization, or archival work Experience with editing, organizing, and maintaining digital content Academic background or demonstrated interest in Chicana/Latina studies or related fields Strong attention to detail and organizational skills This position is ideal for a graduate student interested in gaining hands-on experience in digital archiving. Discipline Specific Required Qualifications The Puentes Program is seeking a motivated Graduate Research Assistant to support ongoing digital archive initiatives and related projects.

Preferred Qualifications Primary Responsibilities:

Assist with the development, organization, and maintenance of digital archives Support digitization efforts, including scanning and file management Contribute to editing and preparing archival materials for digital access Collaborate on projects related to Chicana/Latina studies and community-based work Provide general support for program-related research and archival activities and other duties as assigned.
