The Director of Research, Assessment & Analytics provides strategic leadership for districtwide assessment, accountability, data analysis, and continuous improvement efforts to enhance student achievement and organizational effectiveness. Leads the implementation and monitoring of systems that support evidence-based decision making, instructional improvement, program evaluation, and compliance with state and federal assessment requirements. The Director collaborates closely with district leaders, school administrators, teachers, and community stakeholders to promote a culture of learning, innovation, and measurable results.QUALIFICATIONS
Education and experience 1. Master's degree requiredESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee personnel associated with the Research, Assessment & Analytics department, including supervision, evaluation, coaching, and professional growth support. Provide professional leadership, direction, and support for the Research, Assessment & Analytics team. Build district and school leadership capacity in the effective use of evidence, assessment outcomes, student performance data, and program evaluation practices to improve teaching and learning. Collaborate with district leaders, school leaders, and teacher teams to leverage data for innovation, continuous improvement, informed instructional practices, and increased student achievement. Develop, analyze, and communicate reports related to assessment results, student demographics, achievement trends, accountability measures, and program effectiveness. Ensure district compliance with all testing protocols, assessment ethics, and state and federal accountability requirements. Coordinate and provide training for K12 schools related to assessment administration, testing security, ethical practices, and data interpretation. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to foster understanding, collaboration, and positive momentum around Results and Achievement initiatives. Support district improvement planning and strategic initiatives through data analysis, progress monitoring, and evidence-based recommendations. Serve as an active and collaborative member of the Teaching and Learning Leadership Team. Stay informed of current research, trends, laws, regulations, and best practices related to assessment, accountability, school improvement, and educational leadership.
