Research Scientist VJob Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Research Scientist/Senior Research Scientist to join our lab team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and executing assays. Responsibilities + Develop assays related to antibody discovery. + Execute laboratory workflows efficiently. + Author documents and Electronic Lab Notebook entries. + Create Standard Operating Procedures and other laboratory documentation. + Present results and key findings at project and group meetings. Essential Skills + Proficiency in assay development and antibody discovery. + Experience with lab automation, Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR), and Biolayer Interferometry (BLI). + Knowledge of ELISA, HEK293, CHO, DSF/SLS/DLS, CE-SDS, transfection, and purification. + Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific field. + 3-10 years of industry experience in antibody discovery or antibody R D. + Experience with antibodies or recombinant proteins and protein-binding methods. + Experience with mammalian cell culture. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with automation. + Familiarity with developability or functional assays for antibody drug development. Work Environment Flexible work schedule from Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $67.50/hr.
