Essential Functions
These are the job duties required of the position.
Essential Functions Manages all phases of the creation of the academic course schedule to include conducting schedule training for new schedulers and annual training for returning schedulers.
Prepares training material.
Enters and monitors course data.
Ensures accuracy of all course listings to include comments, fee codes, drop/add dates, restrictions, pre-requisites, reserved seats, course descriptions, and other course specifics by auditing all information against the University Bulletin.
Monitors and reports or scheduling.
Maintains electronic file of requested schedule changes.
Answers registration questions for students and staff.
Monitors departmental email account.
Adheres to student confidentiality rights as legislated with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) of 1974 in handling academic records and responding to third party requestors.
Ensures accuracy and compliance with University requirements to maintain academic integrity.
Interacts by phone, email, and in person with faculty, students, and staff.
Must be able to lift boxes weighing up to 30 lbs.
Attends special events that may require working nights and weekends.
Regular and prompt attendance.
Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required.
Related duties as required.
