Job Description
•Description•The Assistant Manager, SI&S Reporting, will support the Company's Social Impact & Sustainability Reporting, investor engagement, and lead engagement with ESG ratings and rankings organizations. The Assistant Manager will track ELC performance, prepare responses to ratings questionnaires, and help to identify opportunities to enhance scores by developing expertise in ratings methodologies. The Assistant Manager will also support the annual development of the Company's Social Impact & Sustainability Report and assist in project management tasks, narrative drafting of the report, managing reporting standards, and assisting with legal review. In addition to these responsibilities, the Assistant Manager will support ongoing ESG investor engagement by preparing materials for calls/events, maintaining an engagement tracking system, and lead analysis of the ESG Investor Perception Survey. Manage engagement with ESG Raters and Rankers (R&Rs) + Establish deep knowledge of and proficiency with the Company's priority ESG R&Rs, including MSCI, Sustainalytics, ISS, Bloomberg, Refinitiv, and S&P Global (DJSI), among others. Maintain regular communication with R&R contacts; track and evaluate methodology and scoring updates to understand potential impact on ELC. Conduct a prioritization analysis at regular intervals to identify which R&Rs are most important to ELC. + Track ELC scores across priority R&Rs and maintain internal records of score changes. Utilizing methodology and knowledge of reporting, provide analyses and reasonings for score changes. Correct errors and keep ELC information up to date, including via targeted outreach following the annual publication of ELC's Social Impact & Sustainability Report. Conduct in-depth peer benchmarking to understand industry trends. + Prepare and identify the data, metrics, and qualitative information for use in responding to R&Rs. Partner with internal data providers and SMEs to gather and verify data. Organize and disseminate draft responses for internal reviews and approvals. + Lead the development of slide decks, summary overviews, memos, and other internal communications materials to provide regular R&R updates to management. + Conduct annual gap analyses, to comprehensively determine across all raters and rankers areas of strength, improvement, and comparisons to our peer competitors. + Conduct research and draft briefing materials, insights, and analyses regarding trends in ESG disclosure evaluation. •Long Description•Support annual development of the Social Impact & Sustainability (SI&S) Report +
Project Management:
Assist the SIS& Report project manager in various tasks, including compiling and maintaining team member lists; scheduling review, alignment, and approvals meetings; taking meeting notes and following up on action items; preparing decks and other materials. +Narrative Development:
Lead narrative drafting of 5 chapters in the SI&S report, including coordinating with SMEs to determine relevant fiscal updates, leading review calls with SMEs, and continuing to incorporate their feedback.Compile edits to narrative drafts:
Work with SMEs to obtain and organize documentation to substantiate narrative claims. Coordinate with the online communications team to provide website updates based on new report content and data. Assist in legal review of each narrative chapter, making edits to narrative based on legal feedback. +Printing and Distribution:
Coordinate and communicate with design team regarding report layout including reviewing each layout for errors and compiling ESG team feedback. Liaise with the design team to organize printing of report hard copies. Create and update report distribution lists and organize mailings and other distribution activities. Consolidate feedback for ESG and design team regarding print vendors and suggestions for future reports. + Manage Index Frameworks of report: lead index mapping of GRI, TCFD, TNFD, and SASB. Project manage internal stakeholder alignment to new standards. Coordinate with relevant SMEs to ensure the successful first-time inclusion of TNFD and Carbon Offset tables. +Post-Report Communication:
Provide input and summary points from the SI&S Report and consolidate input from relevant SMEs for reactive Q&A document and summary brief for Proxy and SI&S Report. Support Investor ESG engagement + Lead the development of materials to respond to ESG investor requests. Create briefing documents and draft talking points for investor calls and meetings. Lead coordination of legal review for new disclosures. + Track ESG inquiries received from investors and responses provided by ELC. + Compile annual summary of engagement and identify trends and insights as an input to strategic planning. Determine overlap/connection to Investor Perception Survey and Raters and Rankers insights. Communicate results to relevant SMEs. + Lead analysis of responses to the annual ESG Investor Perception Survey. Lead the creation of summary slides and presentation decks, coordinate with IR team and present findings to GCCS. + Engage with SMEs to provide analysis and supporting data regarding investor and rater/ranker mentions and interest in their workstreams to help inform their strategy. Regulatory Preparedness + Upskill on Workiva and how to utilize the reporting tool for reporting and relevant regulations that our team owns . + Support cross-functional coordination by engaging SMEs across Legal, Finance, and Value Chain to gather inputs and validate regulatory disclosures. + Assist with monitoring regulatory updates and project management of in-scope regulations. + Conduct peer benchmarking to identify how competitors approach addressing regulations in their reporting. •Qualifications•+ 3-5+ years of experience in social impact, sustainability, reporting, investor relations, and/or a related field, preferably has worked closely with GCCS + Excellent project management skills with experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, managing timelines, and driving deliverables for complex reporting processes + Familiarity with some of the major ESG raters and rankers (e.g., MSCI, Sustainalytics)) and leading disclosure frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD, TNFD) + Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including experience drafting reports, executive summaries, and investor-facing materials + High attention to detail with experience in data validation, documentation, and supporting legal or compliance reviews + Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with familiarity in ESG reporting tools (e.g., Workiva) and ability to synthesize datasets into compelling presentations and reportsEqual Opportunity Employer It is Company's policy not to discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, age, sex or gender (including pregnancy, childbirth and related medical conditions), gender identity or gender expression (including transgender status), sexual orientation, marital status, military service and veteran status, physical or mental disability, protected medical condition as defined by applicable state or local law, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local laws and ordinances.
