The Center for Healthy Aging at The Pennsylvania State University (http://healthyaging.psu.edu/) invites applications for Postdoctoral Scholars to contribute to NIH-funded research on cognitive aging, daily life processes, and health across adulthood. Projects include work within the Open Measurement Network Initiative (OMNI) for Alzheimer's disease and related dementias (AD/ADRD) prevention research as well as collaborations with investigators across the Center. The Center conducts innovative research using intensive longitudinal and ambulatory methods, including ecological momentary assessment, measurement-burst designs, digital cognitive assessment, and other high-frequency data collection approaches. Postdoctoral scholars will contribute to research examining cognitive function, social relationships, stress, and health in everyday life.Responsibilities may include:
Data analysis of intensive longitudinal datasets and nested or multilevel data structures Project coordination and research management across collaborative studies and working groups Literature reviews and evidence synthesis related to cognitive assessment, daily life processes, and digital measurement Scientific writing, including manuscripts, conference presentations, and contributions to grant proposals Postdoctoral scholars will have opportunities to lead publications, develop independent research projects, and collaborate with a highly interdisciplinary group of investigators. Qualifications Ph.D. in psychology, human development, epidemiology, statistics, data science, or a related field Strong quantitative and writing skills Experience with longitudinal or multilevel modeling preferred; experience with intensive longitudinal or ambulatory data is a plus Ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary research teams The initial appointment is for one year, with a likely renewal for additional years depending on productivity and funding.
