The Botany Section of the University of Colorado Museum of Natural History is accepting applications for a Botany Digitization Researcher ! This is an exciting opportunity for students to work on specimen digitization projects supporting future science and conservation work. These projects, funded by the National Science Foundation's Advancing Digitization of Biodiversity Collections (ADBC) program, aim to create local and global, online consortia of specimen data. Who We Are The CU Herbarium is home to over 550,000 specimens of vascular plants, mosses, and lichens, including the most comprehensive collection of Colorado plants in the world. As part of our team, you'll contribute to valuable projects that include high-resolution imaging, georeferencing, and data transcription, with a focus on lichens, bryophytes from around the world, and vascular plants collected in Asia.

What You Should Know Flexible Hours :

This is a temporary, part-time position. The work schedule will be 10 hours a week through the summer semester ~120 hours total. What We Can Offer The pay for this temporary, part-time position is $18.50/hour.
