$5,000 SIGN-ON BONUS! A to Z Drying will provide FREE housing for the first 3 months of employment. After 3 months, the applicant is responsible for finding their own housing.

Position Description:
The Botanical Field Manager is a hands-on role involving research on plant diseases, managing plant health programs, and leading a team in innovative botanical projects. This position offers a blend of management duties and research opportunities, ideal for those passionate about plant sciences and eager to advance agricultural and ecological sustainability.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
Design and implement research projects focusing on plant pathology and sustainable agriculture. Monitor and evaluate plant health programs, making necessary improvements. Collaborate with the R D team to develop innovative plant production techniques. Collect and analyze data to support ongoing research projects. Document experimental procedures and findings for further analysis. Participate in team meetings and contribute to project brainstorming sessions. Conduct reviews to support research initiatives and stay updated with current trends and advancements in plant science. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Physical attendance is an essential element of the job. Laboratory testing.
Primary Objectives:
Gain practical experience in plant research and development within specialized environments. Engage with innovative projects in sustainable agriculture, including evaluating new technologies. Desirable Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent organizational management skills. Ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with others. Ability to use good judgment in order to carry out detailed instructions. Ability to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously. Attention to detail. Computer proficient. Desirable Education and Experience Candidates with a bachelor's degree in Botany, Plant Pathology, or a related field. Basic understanding of plant growth processes, greenhouse operations, and environmental control technologies such as HVAC systems and artificial lighting.
