Nampa, ID Job Details Full-time $14 - $18 an hour 22 hours ago Qualifications Computer operation Outdoor work Greenhouse experience Vegetable crops High school diploma or GED Computer skills Respirator Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Pollinator to support greenhouse breeding and plant research operations. This position involves assisting with plant pollination, greenhouse maintenance, sample preparation and general plant care. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, able to work independently after training and comfortable performing repetitive, detail-oriented tasks while maintaining accurate records and high quality standards. Key Responsibilities Perform plant pollination and assist with breeding operations. Complete alfalfa crossing using delicate plant materials with precision and attention to detail. Plant seeds, pot plants, stake, prune, water and maintain greenhouse plants. Count plants and maintain accurate records and documentation. Clean and sanitize greenhouse work areas, equipment and production spaces. Grind plant samples and collect quality samples from field locations as needed. Operate a coarse grinder while following all safety procedures. Wear required PPE, including hearing protection, safety goggles and respiratory protection during designated tasks. Maintain greenhouse cleanliness and support daily greenhouse operations. Work independently after training while meeting productivity, quality and safety expectations. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination. Ability to work carefully with small, fragile plant materials. Basic computer skills. Strong listening and communication skills. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Willingness to perform repetitive and detail-oriented work. Positive attitude and dependable work ethic. Preferred Qualifications Background or coursework in Biology, Agriculture, Plant Science or a related field. Previous greenhouse, agricultural, laboratory or plant care experience is preferred but not required. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday. Ability to lift and move materials as needed. Comfortable working in greenhouse and outdoor field environments. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) throughout assigned tasks. #4002

$14.00 - $18.00 per hour
