Job Description

Position Overview Primary purpose is to assist Dr. Andrew Stoehr with scientific research by collecting data, entering data, and general laboratory maintenance tasks. Key Responsibilities Mark plants on the Butler Prairie Assist with field experiments on the Butler Prairie Take measurements, counts, and other forms of biological data Enter data into computer spreadsheets Basic lab maintenance (organization, cleaning, etc) Minimum Qualifications Some college-level biology coursework Reliability, attention to detail, punctuality Transportation to and from study site(s) Ability to work in hot, sunny, rainy conditions around insects About Us Butler University is a private, nationally recognized comprehensive university encompassing seven colleges: Arts, Business, Communication, Education, Liberal Arts & Sciences, Pharmacy & Health Sciences and Founder's College.
