Job Description

We are seeking a Soil Erosion Control Foreman who is responsible for supervising field crews and overseeing the installation, maintenance, and inspection of erosion and sediment control systems on construction sites. This role ensures compliance with environmental regulations, safety standards, and project specifications while maintaining efficient operations and high-quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily activities of erosion control crews Install and maintain erosion control measures (silt fence, wattles, landscape restoration, inlet protection, etc.) Read and interpret site plans, grading plans, and erosion control drawings Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations Conduct site inspections and document work progress Train crew members on proper installation techniques and safety procedures Operate trucks, trailers, and equipment as needed Communicate with project managers, contractors, and inspectors Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in safe working condition Qualifications 3+ years of experience in erosion control, construction, or related field Previous leadership or foreman experience preferred Strong knowledge of erosion and sediment control practices Ability to read construction drawings and plans Good communication and organizational skills Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Licensing & Driving Requirements Valid Driver's License required Chauffeur License required Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred
Pay:
$30-40/hour
Schedule:
Full-time, with possible overtime Typical hours: Monday-Friday, occasional weekends depending on project needs
