Henrietta, NY Job Details Full-time $75,000 - $95,000 a year 13 hours ago Qualifications Bachelor's degree Precision agriculture technology Full Job Description Position Summary Agricultural Consulting Services (ACS), a subsidiary of Dairy One, is seeking an experienced Agronomist to support and expand our agronomic consulting services throughout western and central New York. This position combines agronomic planning, business acumen, client management, sales development, precision agriculture, and technology integration to support progressive farm operations across the region. The Agronomist will serve as a trusted advisor to clients while helping grow ACS services through strong relationships, practical problem solving, and implementation of innovative agricultural technologies including digital farm management and precision agriculture platforms. Primary Responsibilities Develop and manage agronomic plans for dairy, livestock, forage, grain, and specialty crop producers Provide recommendations related to fertility, nutrient management, crop performance, soil health, and environmental stewardship Build and maintain strong client relationships while serving as a primary contact for assigned accounts Identify opportunities to expand ACS consulting, software, and precision agriculture services Support adoption and implementation of digital agriculture platforms including Twine.

Ag Collaborate with software and technical teams to improve workflows, client experience, and operational efficiency Utilize agronomic data, GIS tools, mapping, and precision agriculture technologies to support farm decision-making Assist clients in solving operational and agronomic challenges through practical, results-oriented recommendations Participate in industry meetings, field events, and business development activities throughout the region What ACS Offers Competitive salary with bonus and commission opportunities Company vehicle and technology support Corporate office space Flexibility Dedicated technical, GIS, and administrative staff support Opportunity to work with progressive farms and emerging agricultural technologies Collaborative team environment focused on innovation and practical results Qualifications Minimum of 6 years of industry-related agronomic or agricultural consulting experience Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Plant Science, Environmental Science, Crop Science, Soil Science, or related field required; Master's or MBA degree preferred Strong understanding of Northeast crop production systems and dairy agriculture Experience in client management, sales, and agricultural consulting preferred Familiarity with precision agriculture, GIS, and digital farm management systems Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Certified Crop Adviser (CCA) credential required AEM planner certification preferred Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the region
