Mar 31, 2028 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time The Philadelphia VA Medical Center (PVAMC) and the Department of Neurosurgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for a Research Associate position in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years). Expertise is required in the specific area of coding, EEG and signals analysis, as well as electrophysiology in animal models and neuromodulation. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Preferred applicant should have 3-5 years of experience in these areas of expertise. Responsibilities may include working with the Principal Investigator on designing, carrying out, and analyzing complex electrophysiological experiments in the area of cognition, TBI and PTE. The successful applicant will have an opportunity to develop independence in the areas of experimental design and analysis as well as preparation of grants and manuscripts.
