In support to the forage-livestock systems program, Dr. Liliane Silva seeks highly motivated candidates for a Forages Technician position to work under her program. The Forages Technician will support and assist with forage and soil data collection, processing, preparation and analysis. The individual will also support facility and experimental areas planting, maintenance, and infrastructure development (e.g., temporary fence building for studies), data entry and assist with organization of educational activities developed under the forage-livestock program.JOB DUTIES

- Facility and experimental areas maintenance: repairs, cleans and provide maintenance and organization to the field and laboratory facilities and storage of samples. Assist with experimental areas maintenance, fence building, among others. Additional duties may be assigned. 10%

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education- No minimum requirements for this role. Education
- Bachelor's Degree
- Agronomy, Soil Science, or Plant Sciences, Animal Sciences or related disciplines

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No Supervisory Duties- Not responsible for supervising employees.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Anticipated Hourly Rate:
$12.00 Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL
