Science Project Intern
This research project is part of the ADCRA project (Accelerated Diversification for Climate-Resilient Agriculture) and aims at characterising the responses to abiotic stresses of multiple accessions of 50 wild edible plant species from Sub-Saharan Africa. The target species belong to three main groups of crop wild relatives: wild millets, wild legumes and wild yams and are being collected by Millennium Seed Bank (MSB) partners in Africa (Ghana, Mozambique, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia).

Our ideal candidate is someone who has experience with seed germination testing, preparing chemicals solutions and the use of scalpels to extract plant tissues, as well as experimental activities in nurseries and/or growth chambers. The intern must have at least two years of university education or be a graduate who has completed their degree within the past two years from the start date of the internship.
