Overview We are seeking a motivated Part Time Water Sampling Technician to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to water quality assurance by collecting samples, supporting environmental compliance efforts, and assisting in water system maintenance. Responsibilities Collect water samples from designated locations following established protocols to ensure accurate testing results Assist with water treatment processes and monitor system operations for compliance with environmental standards Support the permitting phase by documenting sampling activities and maintaining detailed records Conduct routine inspections of wells, pumps, and related infrastructure to identify potential issues Maintain sampling equipment and ensure proper handling of all materials. Complete required paperwork and communicate effectively with the team. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow sampling procedures. Reliable, punctual, and professional. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds , including containers of sodium hypochlorite and other sampling supplies. Experience or familiarity with water systems, water treatment, or water distribution is helpful but not required. Experience Prior laboratory or field experience related to water quality testing or environmental sampling is preferred Mechanical knowledge related to water treatment equipment or well systems enhances troubleshooting capabilities What We Offer Competitive pay of $20.00-$25.00 per hour . Company vehicle provided for use during work hours. Consistent part-time schedule of 2 days per week (approximately 20 hours) . Additional Information A professional appearance is required, as you will regularly visit local businesses and interact with business owners, managers, and other customers. Company shirts will be provided. Employees are expected to supply their own work pants and sturdy work boots appropriate for outdoor fieldwork. The company vehicle is assigned for work use only and must be picked up from and returned to the office each workday. Company vehicles are not driven home.
