Puppy care taker and sales rep

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Puppy Caretaker and Sales Representative to join our vibrant team! In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to puppies, ensuring their health, happiness, and well-being, while also engaging with customers to promote and sell our adorable puppies. Duties Provide attentive care to puppies, including feeding, grooming, socialization, and health monitoring to promote their development. Assist with puppy training activities, ensuring proper handling and behavior reinforcement. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in puppy housing and play areas. Engage with customers by answering questions about puppy breeds, care requirements, and adoption processes. Promote sales by showcasing puppies' unique qualities and assisting customers in selecting the right pet for their lifestyle. Support the onboarding of new puppies into the facility, including health checks and record keeping. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent customer service. Experience Supervising experience preferred, especially in animal care or customer service roles. Mechanical knowledge beneficial for equipment maintenance or minor repairs related to animal housing or facilities. Hands-on experience with animal husbandry, handling various breeds of puppies or other small animals. Familiarity with farm machinery, power tools, hand tools, or equipment repair is a plus for maintaining facilities. Knowledge of animal handling techniques, grooming, feeding protocols, and health monitoring. Basic math skills for inventory management and record keeping. Experience with irrigation systems or greenhouse environments is advantageous but not required. This role requires physical stamina for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet, as well as a genuine passion for caring for animals and engaging with customers.
