BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION
This position (IF&W Sr. Resource Biologist- Wildlife) is located within the Wildlife Division's Wildlife Diversity Section in Augusta, Maine.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Fisheries or Wildlife Management, or related field- AND•two (2) years of progressively responsible related laboratory or field research and/or management experience.
REQUIRED SUPPLEMENTAL QUESTIONS
The questions below MUST be answered and submitted as part of your Cover Letter. Please keep responses to each question below to a 500-word maximum. 1. Summarize your training and experience in bat and marine bird field studies and assessments. 2.Summarize your experience in writing:
a) technical reports, b) peer-reviewed manuscripts, c) grant proposals, and d) species management plans. 3. Describe your experience in the field of wildlife science as it relates to the following: a) Environmental Assessments of proposed project impacts on wildlife and habitat under state or federal regulatory permitting processes. b) Coordinating projects with multiple stakeholders that highlights your organizational, communication, problem solving, and consensus building skills.
