Degree:

Bachelor's degree (or higher degree) in biology, zoology, or biological oceanography th included least 30 semester hours in biological and aquic science and 15 semester hours in the physical and mhemical sciences. This course work must have included: 1. At least 15 semester hours of preparory training in zoology beyond introductory biology or zoology in such courses as invertebre zoology, comparive anomy, histology, physiology, embryology, advanced vertebre zoology, genetics, entomology, and parasitology; and 2. At least 6 semester hours of training applicable to fishery biology in such subjects as fishery biology, ichthyology, limnology, oceanography, algology, planktonology, marine or fresh wer ecology, invertebre ecology, principles of fishery populion dynamics, or reled course work in the field of fishery biology; and 3. At least 15 semester hours of training in any combinion of two or more of the following: chemistry, physics, mhemics, or stistics. Specialized Experience:

One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Applying knowledge of fishery issues reled to Indian treies, commercial and sport fisheries, Canadian trey, fish passage, and /or wer budget, etc., to understand the obligions and relionships; 2) Reviewing biological implicions of proposed actions such as changes in project operions; and 3) Overseeing fish reled operions and maintenance activities. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).

OR Educion:

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level gradue educion leading to such a degree in a field which demonstres the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Biology, Zoology, Aquic Biology, Wildlife Biology, or Biological Oceanography.

OR Combinion of Educion and Experience:

A combinion of educion and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is least 100%.
