Job Description

Category Schools - General Education Teacher Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic high school environment as a Physical Science educator and make a meaningful impact with a contract position near Kingston, NH. In this full-time opportunity, you'll engage students in comprehensive physical science coursework, fostering a love of scientific inquiry and critical thinking.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Valid endorsement in Physical Science for grades 9-12 is required Strong background in general education and science instruction Demonstrated ability to differentiate instruction for diverse high school learners Excellent communication and classroom management skills Previous experience teaching physical science at the high school level is highly desirable
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging Physical Science curriculum to high school students following established standards Develop lesson plans, labs, and classroom activities that promote scientific understanding Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and exams, providing constructive feedback Collaborate with fellow teachers, counselors, and administrators to support student success Maintain records of student performance and adhere to all school and district policies Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation This is a contract role offering a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, 35 hours per week, working directly with a high school general education caseload.
