Key Responsibilities:
Design and execute cell culture experiments using CHO cells to support R D for novel biotherapeutics, process optimization, and scale-up strategies. Prepare, formulate, and optimize cell culture media and critical reagents, leveraging cutting-edge methods to maximize cell health and product yield. Perform advanced biochemical and cell-based assays to evaluate cell growth, productivity, and product quality, applying the latest analytical techniques. Conduct data analysis, interpret experimental results, and compile summary reports to drive data-driven decision-making across R D functions. Partner with cross-functional teams to plan and refine experimental strategies, supporting the development, characterization, and troubleshooting of bioproduction processes. Authentically contribute to formal technical documentation-including comprehensive reports and presentation materials-and assist in presenting key findings to stakeholders. Support troubleshooting and resolution of technical challenges relating to cell culture, process equipment, and assay performance. Qualifications B.S. or M.S. in Biological Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related field (M.S. preferred). Proven hands-on expertise (2+ years for B.S.; less for M.S.) in mammalian cell culture, with emphasis on CHO cell-based production. Strong working knowledge of bioprocess equipment, analytical instrumentation, and commonly used laboratory technologies. Practical experience with bioreactors or scalable culture systems is highly desirable. Solid foundation in cell biology, protein expression systems, biochemical assays, and experimental troubleshooting. Skilled in data analysis, lab computation tools, and reporting software. Effective communicator-proficient in technical writing, presentation, and interpersonal collaboration.
