Local Candidates Only Position Overview Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Cell Line Development Scientist for our pharmaceutical partner. We are seeking a highly motivated scientist with a strong background in mammalian cell culture and molecular biology to support research and innovation within a Cell Line Development expression platform. This role will focus on improving methodologies, platforms, and processes used in the generation of recombinant CHO cell lines expressing complex biologic therapeutics. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative research environment and bring strong technical expertise in cellular biology, molecular biology, and process optimization. Key Responsibilities Design, execute, and analyze platform research studies supporting process development initiatives aimed at improving productivity, product quality, and development timelines Support the generation of engineered mammalian cell lines, including transfection pools and clonal cell lines expressing candidate biotherapeutics Conduct multiple parallel studies to optimize cell line development workflows and generation processes Perform routine mammalian cell culture techniques including sterile technique, cell counting, passaging, media preparation, and cryopreservation Execute molecular biology techniques including DNA plasmid preparation, PCR, restriction enzyme digestion, and related workflows Analyze experimental data and communicate findings through reports, presentations, and scientific summaries Collaborate cross-functionally within research and development teams to support platform innovation and continuous improvement initiatives Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and experimental records with strong attention to detail Adapt quickly within a goal-oriented and rapidly evolving research environment while expanding technical capabilities Required Qualifications PhD in Biology, Cellular Biology, Molecular Biology, or related scientific discipline with 0-2 years of relevant experience OR Master's or Bachelor's degree with equivalent industry experience Preferred Qualifications Experience with suspension culture of CHO cell lines in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment Knowledge of molecular biology techniques including gene editing, copy number analysis, and Gibson Assembly Strong experience in mammalian cell culture and cell line development workflows Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a collaborative laboratory settingPay Details:
