Job responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Collect and analyze supply chain data and continuously recommend improvements on supply chain processes and procedures. Perform inventory reconciliation and rectify/manage any errors, shortage and overage minimization by working with cross-functional departments. Prepare, review, and manage import documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with all regulatory and company requirements. Oversee and manage all aspects of import activities, including import documentation, shipment tracking, and vendor coordination. Facilitate customs clearance processes by preparing and reviewing customs documentation, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, and interacting with customs brokers and government agencies as necessary. Track ocean shipments from origin to destination, ensuring timely and accurate updates to stakeholders. Manage drayage operations and coordinate with transportation providers to facilitate efficient cargo movement from port to warehouse. Coordinate and support with needs for the Inventory Control Tower and assist SCM operation team as needed. Ensure implementation of SCM plans by efficiently working with operations and cross-functional departments. Responsible for planning, analyzing and developing SOPs to standardize SCM operating procedures and processes. Prepare and analyze ad-hoc business reports to identify issues and recommend improvements. Support with other SCM-related projects as requested by the manager/division manager.
Skills/Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance or related field. 2+ years of relevant experience in CPG import operations, trade management, or related functions. Good understanding of Supply Chain Management & selling process. Experience with import management, drayage operations, tracking ocean shipments, and/or custom clearance is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of SCP (Supply Chain Planning) System. Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Strong analytical and computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI). Good interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to anticipate business needs and influence change to drive actionable and tangible results. Prior experience using Oracle and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is preferred. Bilingual in Korean is preferred, but not required.
