Production Supervisor Summary:

Coordinates the production plan and production activities in the UV Department, and operates the UV screen printing presses/lines to produce signs and other screen printed products by performing the following duties. Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Determines UV Department production plan based on screen/substrate availability, and job priority. Obtains screens, checks versus production tickets, tickets screens, and assigns jobs to UV printing technicians. Mixes inks, using Color Match software as necessary. Monitors UV printing technicians/processes to ensure adherence to specifications; and assists in troubleshooting as needed. Updates FileMaker production status screen for all UV Department activity fields. Maintains UV log and UV ink formula cards. Inventories inks and supplies. Performs all functions of the UV printing technician. Maintains a clean, organized and safe work area. Adheres to all company policies and procedures. Blocks out screens to expedite production as needed. Disposes of area trash, sweeps, vacuums, mops production area. Performs other duties as assigned.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and ability to see color.
