Duties Set up and prepare screen printing equipment, ensuring proper alignment, registration, and calibration for each job. Operate a manual screen printing presses, to produce vibrant prints on apparel, promotional items, or packaging materials. Manage prepress tasks such as creating or reviewing artwork files using ensuring accurate color matching and layout design. Conduct quality control inspections throughout the printing process to detect defects, color inconsistencies, or misalignments; make adjustments as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including screen cleaning, ink mixing, and equipment maintenance to optimize production efficiency. Collaborate with the design team to interpret graphic specifications and ensure adherence to branding standards. Follow safety protocols diligently while handling inks, chemicals, and machinery. Skills Proven experience in screen printing techniques across various substrates and materials. Strong knowledge of prepress processes including file preparation, color management, and layout design using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator). Familiarity with color matching principles and typography to achieve precise visual outcomes. Understanding of manufacturing workflows. Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly and perform basic maintenance tasks. Excellent attention to detail for quality control inspections and print consistency. Knowledge of print advertising standards and how print quality impacts brand messaging.
