Scrub Nurse

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Scrub Nurse to join our dynamic surgical team. In this vital role, you will provide expert assistance during surgical procedures by maintaining a sterile environment, preparing surgical instruments, and supporting the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Your expertise in aseptic techniques, anatomy, and patient care will be essential in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality surgical services in plastic surgery. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced surgery center setting where your skills directly impact patient recovery and safety. Duties Prepare the operating room by sterilizing instruments, arranging supplies, and ensuring all equipment is functional and ready for procedures. Assist surgeons during surgeries by passing instruments and managing surgical tools with precision and efficiency. Maintain strict aseptic techniques to prevent infection and uphold infection control standards throughout all procedures. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology Qualifications Valid nursing license with current certification as a registered nurse (RN). Proven experience working as a scrub nurse in surgical environments; experience in plastics highly desirable. Strong background in Operating Room and/or ambulatory surgery centers. Proficiency in aseptic technique, suturing skills, infection control practices, and handling sterile equipment. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Excellent analysis skills with the ability to respond swiftly to changing clinical situations while maintaining attention to detail.
