Duties Measure clients accurately and interpret their fitting needs to deliver tailored garments that fit perfectly Operate sewing machines efficiently to assemble, alter, or repair clothing items with precision and attention to detail Make necessary adjustments or alterations based on customer feedback or fitting sessions Maintain a clean, organized workspace and ensure all tools and equipment are in excellent condition Communicate effectively with customers to understand their preferences and provide expert advice on garment fit and style Follow safety protocols when handling sewing equipment and materials to ensure a safe working environment Experience Proven experience in fashion retail or a similar sewing/tailoring environment demonstrating strong alteration skills Proficiency with sewing machines, including various stitches and techniques used in garment making Knowledge of garment fitting, pattern adjustment, and alteration processes Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements, fabric estimation, and pattern scaling Excellent customer service skills with the ability to listen carefully and respond professionally Familiarity with fashion trends and an eye for detail in design and craftsmanship Join us as a Seamstress Tailor and bring your passion for fashion to life by crafting beautiful, well-fitted garments that delight our customers!
