Seasonal A la Carte Server

Shoreby Club a private club located on the water in Bratenahl just outside of Downtown Cleveland. We are hiring full time lead servers for nights and weekends. This would be a service-based position. We ask that you would be on the floor taking tables as a part of the day to day operations. In addition to this, we ask that this role upholds and executes set expectations on the floor. This role will work closely with managers to create and maintain a training program for all incoming servers. Train New Staff for Ala Carte Service Work with F&B managers to train new hires for peak seasons Consistently review and update training practices Perform opening duties Set Dining Room for daily service Look at upcoming events and make sure private dining spaces are set Dinner Service Assist in table map creation Assist in answering on the floor questions for servers regarding menu, pricing, POS questions Establishing service standards while participating in daily lineup Enforcing consistency of service in all dining rooms including private dining space Possible lead server on plated dinners in private dining spaces Perform closing duties Check out side work with server Successful applicants will have a strong work ethic, ability to work with a team, and an engaging personality. Applicants should have excellent communication skills with which to maintain and build relationships with the members of the Club. Prior service experience and a basic knowledge of customer service principles, food service, and restaurant operations. The ability to be on your feet for long periods of time is necessary and availability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
