Seasonal Canine Care Associate

In addition, we have bi-monthly staff meetings with lunch provided. We are looking for a hardworking Canine Care Associate/ Dog Daycare Attendant who is passionate about caring for dogs! The ideal candidate will have prior experience around dogs and love interacting with both people and animals. Responsibilities include monitoring the well-being of our dogs, feeding them, bathing and nail clipping, cleaning their kennels and facility, administering medication, and writing updates about each dog in our log book and online portal. This is a physical job and does require you to be on your feet for the entirety of the shift and be outside in all types of weather. Experience not necessary- we will train the right candidate. This is a temporary/seasonal position with a flexible start date in May and an end date of Aug 31st. The current schedule is 16-25 hours a week with shifts ranging from as early as 6:50 AM to as late as 8:00 PM, and would include a Saturday and Sunday shift every other weekend. Hours are flexible and can be adjusted based on availability and discussion. Must have weekend availability.

Responsibilities:

Be dog-friendly. Be able to be outside for extended periods of time. Be well-groomed and clean. Be punctual. Be able to clean up after dogs. Be able to lift 50lb dogs. Be able/willing to read and write with proper grammar. Be willing to learn
