Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic agricultural team as a Seasonal Farm Laborer and be a vital part of cultivating, maintaining, and harvesting a variety of crops and livestock. This energetic role offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors across different farm operations, applying your hands-on skills and mechanical knowledge to support the growth and health of our farm environment. Whether you're assisting with planting, harvesting, or equipment maintenance, your contribution will directly impact the success of our seasonal farming activities. This paid position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to gain practical experience in agriculture and farm management. Responsibilities Assist with planting, cultivating, irrigating, and harvesting crops using hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment such as tractors, irrigation systems, and other heavy machinery, including welding and basic troubleshooting. Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and other farm machinery safely and efficiently under supervision. Maintain farm infrastructure by performing equipment repairs, welding tasks, and general upkeep to ensure safety and efficiency. Follow safety protocols during all activities involving heavy lifting, power tools, hand tools, or irrigation systems. Support team members in daily farm operations through teamwork, communication, and proactive problem-solving. Experience Prior supervising experience or leadership roles on farms or agricultural settings is preferred but not required. An open schedule will be required due to fluctuation of hours. Mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery repair and maintenance is highly desirable. Ability to operate forklifts, heavy equipment, power tools, hand tools, and irrigation systems safely is a plus but not required. Familiarity with farming techniques including growing and harvesting practices. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting regularly and work outdoors in varying weather conditions is essential.
