September - June About The Fall Line The Fall Line is a premier private destination golf and sporting club located in Southwest Georgia. Our 4,500-acre property features two Ogilvy, Cocking & Mead-designed 18-hole championship golf courses, a 9-hole short course, and world-class facilities for shooting, hunting, and angling. In addition to our outstanding outdoor offerings, we pride ourselves on exceptional hospitality with multiple dining and lodging options, all enhanced by our 25-acre farm that serves as the centerpiece of the property. Position Summary The Server/Bartender is a cross-trained hospitality professional responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service in both dining and bar environments. This role provides flexible coverage across service areas to ensure seamless execution during peak periods and special events. In addition, the server/bartender will assist in all hospitality related functions of operation in a first-class inn consisting of multiple hospitality functions. The ideal candidate demonstrates professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding The Fall Line's service standards while supporting operational efficiency and team collaboration. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Service Execution Provide attentive, anticipatory service in accordance with Club standards. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages consistent with established recipes and presentation guidelines. Assist with setup and breakdown of all dining and event spaces. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menus, wine lists, cocktails, and daily features. Ensure timely, polished delivery of food and beverages. Stock, clean and outfit the beverage cart. Operational Flexibility Transition seamlessly between server and bartender responsibilities as scheduled. Provide coverage across multiple facilities such as dining rooms, bar areas, halfway houses, and special events as needed. Support peak service periods and large and small group functions to maintain service flow and member satisfaction. Assist with transportation of equipment and supplies around property. Provide transport for members and guests throughout the property. Maintain cleanliness of club vehicles. Assist with sporting clay facility needs including setup, breakdown and activities. Standards & Compliance Adhere to all alcohol service laws and Club policies. Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked service station, bar area and member facing areas. Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards. Participate in required training, including harassment prevention and safety programs. Member & Guest Experience Build professional rapport with members and guests while maintaining appropriate boundaries. Demonstrate discretion, confidentiality, and situational awareness in a private club environment. Resolve service concerns promptly and escalate issues when appropriate. Qualifications Previous experience as a server and/or bartender in a private club, upscale restaurant, or hospitality environment preferred. Knowledge of craft cocktails, wine service, and fine dining standards preferred. Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak seasonal periods. Valid alcohol service certification (or ability to obtain). Strong communication skills and professional demeanor. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. Ability to perform repetitive motions including bending, reaching, and carrying trays. Seasonal Employment Status This position is classified as Full-Time Seasonal. Employment is expected to align with the Club's primary operating season (September-June). Hours may fluctuate based on business levels, events, and operational needs. Seasonal employment does not guarantee year-round hours.
