Seasonal Summer Associate

Vintage Mattituck is hiring seasonal team members for the summer. We're looking for engaging, hardworking people who enjoy a fast-paced environment, take pride in great customer service, and are comfortable with the physical side of retail, including lifting and moving cases of wine and spirits. This is a great summer opportunity for college students or other seasonal candidates who want more than a basic retail job. Team members get hands-on experience in customer service, merchandising, deliveries, inventory, online orders, and the day-to-day pace of a successful North Fork retail business during peak season. Pay Guaranteed minimum earnings of $21/hour $18/hour base pay + tips , with employer make-up pay if tips do not bring total earnings to at least $21/hour for the pay week Job Type Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service in a busy summer retail environment Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately Process in-store, phone, and online orders Stock shelves, maintain inventory, and keep the store organized Build displays and support merchandising Make local deliveries throughout the North Fork and Shelter Island Receive supplier deliveries and organize stock in the backroom Support web order fulfillment and day-to-day store operations Requirements Valid driver's license and clean driving record Availability for weekends, evenings, and holidays Ability to lift and move boxes and cases of wine and spirits Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to help wherever needed Comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Interest in wine and spirits; retail, hospitality, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required Ideal Candidates College students home for the summer and other seasonal candidates who are reliable, personable, and ready to work hard during our busiest time of year.
