Job Description

Job Description Operate multiple types of power equipment for the purposes maintaining the school grounds, such as-riding mowers, push mowers, trimmers, chain saws, trenchers, sod cutters, etc. to maintain the grounds district-wide. Ability to use small hand tools for trimming trees, bushes, and other vegetation Prepping and painting interior and exterior surfaces Moving classroom furniture within buildings and between building locations. Ability to work effectively alone on all projects with little to no superivision. Ablitliy to communicate effectivily verbally, in writing, and email. Other duties may be assigned by Maintenance Department Supervisor. Minimum Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the following criteria: Current High School student, High School Graduate, or GED. Must have a valid Washington state driver's license. Ability to apply common sense understanding to complete detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Physical ability to walk, use hands to use tools and/or equipment, unrestricted range of motion, able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Physical ability to frequently lift and/or move 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs. Must have a clean driving record and pass a driving abstract background check.
