Second Shift Fabricator (Structural, Carbon, or Stainless Steel)

Full-Time Hours will be 4:30pm to 5:00am Monday night through Wednesday night If 36 hours (3 12-hour nights) are worked, four hours will be added to weekly paycheck Overtime available $5.00 per hour shift differential

JOB DUTIES

Follows all safety, ISO, and SOP guidelines. Work as part of a team. Review work order and drawings for special instructions. Studies and interprets blueprints/drawings and measurements. Welds using GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, and SMAW. Sets up and operates fabricating machines, rolls, shears, flame cutters, grinders, and drill presses to cut, form, punch, drill, or otherwise form and assemble metal components. Fabricates and assembles projects per job requirements. Verifies and holds tolerances per job requirements. Consults department manager on any assembly and production issues. Informs department manager of any equipment issues. Ensures working environment is clean and organized. Fabricates and assembles projects per job requirements. Identifies what needs to be done and possible problem areas. Collects/corrects all the materials neecded (Dimensions/Quantity/Type) Assembles/tacks parts. Gets an in-process inspection if needed. Completes all parts of project. (Weld/Straighten/Grind/Polish/Etc.) Prepares all tags for fginal inspection. Informs department manager when product is ready for inspection. Skids product appropriately. Returns all leftover parts and paperwork to designated area.

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants must have experience in TIG and MIG welding on stainless and aluminum sheet metal Applicants must be able to read and fabricate from blueprints Grinding and blending experience a plus Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment Operating some CNC equipment (press and plasma table) are possibilities for this position
