Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Second Shift Team Leader and take charge of overseeing daily warehouse operations during the evening hours of 3pm-11pm. In this energetic role, you will lead a dedicated team to ensure efficient inventory management, accurate shipping and receiving, and smooth warehouse molding processes. Your leadership will drive process improvements, uphold safety standards, and foster a collaborative environment that promotes excellence and accountability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence operational success while supporting a fast-paced warehouse environment committed to continuous growth. Responsibilities Supervise and motivate a team of warehouse associates during the second shift, ensuring productivity and safety compliance. Oversee inventory control procedures, including cycle counts, stock replenishment, and accuracy checks using warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms. Machine Operating experience, molding experience a plus. Manage materials handling operations with mechanical knowledge of forklifts and heavy lifting equipment, adhering to OSHA safety regulations. Implement process improvements to optimize workflow efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance overall warehouse performance. Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, shipping documentation, and incident reports for audit purposes. Collaborate with logistics teams and 3PL providers to ensure seamless distribution and delivery schedules. Skills Strong leadership abilities with experience managing warehouse teams and fostering a positive work environment. Proficiency in inventory management systems, warehouse management systems. Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes, machine molding process, shipping & receiving protocols, and materials handling techniques. Mechanical aptitude with forklift certification and experience operating heavy equipment safely. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations and heavy lifting. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control and process improvement initiatives. Understanding of e-commerce logistics, 3PL partnerships, and warehouse management best practices. This role is ideal for candidates with prior warehouse supervisor experience or extensive warehouse experience seeking to lead a motivated team in a fast-paced environment.
