Job Description
Secondary Operations Specialist -
This individual will work closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to troubleshoot issues, improve processes, and support new program launches. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to lead by example on the production floor.
Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the technical SME for all secondary operations, including:
Pad printingHeat stakingManual and automated assemblyTool/version changes at the pressSupport setup, validation, and optimization of secondary equipment and processesTroubleshoot and resolve quality and process issues related to secondary operationsPartner with Engineering and Quality to ensure process capability and consistencyLead and support new product launches, including development of secondary operation standardsTrain and mentor operators and technicians on best practices and proper techniques for secondary processesDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, scrap reduction, and cycle timeEnsure adherence to safety standards and procedures across all secondary operationsAssist in development and documentation of standard work instructions and process parametersCollaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless integration between molding and secondary processesWhy Join Us Opportunity to be the go-to technical expert in a critical area of the businessHigh visibility role with direct impact on production performance and qualityCollaborative team environment with opportunities for growth and development Qualifications QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferredTechnical training or certifications preferred5+ years of experience in plastic injection molding and/or secondary operationsStrong hands-on experience with:

Manufacturing Production / DistributionEqual Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/DisabledMain Duties & Responsibilities Position SummaryWe are seeking a hands-on Secondary Operations Specialist to serve as the site's subject matter expert (SME) for post-molding processes within our plastic injection molding operation. This role is critical to ensuring high-quality output, efficient secondary operations, and successful integration of processes such as pad printing, heat staking, ulatrsonic welding, assembly, determine fixtures needed and work with the purchasing team for ordering fixtures as well as tool/version changes at the press.This individual will work closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to troubleshoot issues, improve processes, and support new program launches. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to lead by example on the production floor.
