The Eastern Lebanon County (ELCO) School District is now accepting applications for a Secondary Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The successful candidate should have experience teaching students of varying academic and social-emotional needs at the secondary level. The teacher will provide instruction to students with disabilities, ensuring they receive the necessary support and accommodations they need to succeed. The successful candidate will join a student-focused, team-oriented environment and must be a collaborative educator who can differentiate instruction, implement IEPs, and foster a positive learning environment that encourages student growth. Along with effective communication skills (verbal and written), the successful candidate must possess strong presentation and organizational skills, demonstrate an outstanding ability to engage all students in learning, exhibit excellent interpersonal skills to foster relationships with students, families, and other educators, and effectively utilize technology in the classroom.

Minimum Requirements:

Certification in: Pennsylvania Special Education Certification PK-12

Clearances:

All required clearances must be compliant with the Pennsylvania Department of Education's mandated criteria for hire, including: Current Act 34, 151, and 114
