Job Description

Secretary for the
Division of Business Terms of Employment:
 Full-time, twelve-month, non-exempt position.
Available:
 July 1, 2026
Duties and Responsibilities:
Administers the Division of Business office including, but not limited to, answering the Division telephone, answering basic questions about the Division, handling faculty mail and packages, scanning, organizing and storing documents. Attends, records, prepares, posts and distributes agendas and minutes for Division of Business meetings. Maintains student records for students majoring in business programs. Assists instructors in obtaining teaching materials and in matters related to their teaching assignments. Prepares and maintains records, documents and correspondences regarding students, faculty and the Division. Assists the Division Chair and faculty regarding professional accreditation. Assists Division Chair and faculty in assessment (program and course-level) processes. Assists DOB faculty, staff, and students as needed. Assists in updating/maintaining Division of Business website. Maintains Division budget records. Performs other duties as assigned by Division Chair.
Qualifications:
 High school diploma (or GED) required, associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. Excellent secretarial skills and computer skills preferred. Professional grammar and communication skills required.
