Security Camera Installer

FiberTel, Inc. , a trusted local telecommunications installation company, is looking for a motivated, hands‑on Fiber & Low‑Voltage Technician to join our growing team near Wilkes‑Barre, PA . If you have experience with fiber optic and Cat6/6A cabling — or you're an entry‑level candidate with the right attitude and willingness to learn — we want to hear from you. What You'll Do Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot fiber and copper cabling Build and document MDF/IDF rooms Perform cable routing, labeling, and quality‑focused documentation Support a variety of low‑voltage systems (experience in any of these is a plus): Security camera systems Paging & audio systems Wireless systems Cellular boosting systems Sound masking Access control & intrusion systems Conduit/raceway installation What We're Looking For 2+ years of experience in fiber/low‑voltage systems Entry‑level candidates will be considered if they show strong potential Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to pass drug screening and required background checks (ACT 34, ACT 151, federal) Strong computer skills Safety knowledge (OSHA 30), lift certification, electrical knowledge, or BICSI/industry certifications are a plus Willingness to travel, including occasional overnights, overtime, and weekend work What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Medical, Dental, Vision Paid Vacation & Paid Holidays Paid Travel IRA with company match A stable, supportive work environment with long‑term growth opportunities This position requires reporting to our office near Wilkes‑Barre, PA .

Pay:

$18.00 - $30.00 per hour
